What is aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy is a branch of unconventional medicine that uses the therapeutic effects of essential oils. These are chemically complex, highly condensed volatile substances of extraordinary potency, obtained from various parts of plants (flowers, leaves, seeds, wood, roots or bark) by the method of steam distillation. Their action is based on their influence on the limbic system of the brain (through smell), which primarily affects our psyche, and on the regulation of physiological processes in our body (through absorption), improving overall health. In cosmetics, essential oils have been used since the 1960s and their ability to rejuvenate, regenerate and heal our skin has since been repeatedly confirmed by scientific studies. Oils, as one of the few known substances, permeate all layers of the skin, nurturing it deeply and on many levels. Our use of the highest quality oils of therapeutic effect ensures that our cosmetics and their magical, stunning natural aromas are extremely effective, and their use becomes a daily favorite ritual.
